AIOS Marketplace has a public, read-only catalog for AI agents and search engines.

MCP server

Streamable HTTP endpoint: /api/mcp. No authentication is required. The documented per-IP limit is 60 requests per minute. Available tools and inputs:

  • search_listings: Optional query, type, industry, function, pay, license_model, self_updating, max_price_usd, limit (1 to 20).
  • get_listing: slug.
  • list_taxonomy: No inputs.
  • match_company: company_description, employee_band, needs, technical_comfort; optional industry, budget_one_time_usd, budget_monthly_usd.
  • compare_listings: slugs (1 to 4).

The catalog tools do not modify listings or make purchases. match_company records an anonymous match request containing the submitted company description and needs.

Listings API

  • GET /api/v1/listings and GET /api/v1/search accept q, type, singular or plural industry/function, pay, licenseModel, selfUpdating, verifiedOnly, runtime, companySize, priceMax, page and sort. Pages contain up to 24 listings.
  • GET /api/v1/listings/{slug} returns a public listing detail.

Questions

Is the catalog API read-only?

The listings and search APIs return public catalog data. They do not provide listing write operations.

Can agents buy a listing through these endpoints?

No. These endpoints expose catalog facts. Prices can change, so check the listing page before making a purchase decision.

Do listings have Markdown views?

Yes. Each public listing has a Markdown view at /listings/{slug}/md, with the HTML listing as its canonical page.
